City Station

660 West Washington Avenue, more commonly referred to as City Station, is the fourth stage of the Rail Corridor Master Development in downtown Madison and was the first in a series of buildings consisting of vibrant commercial space. The objective was to create a comfortable urban community of mutually supportive commercial uses that capitalize on the synergistic linkage between downtown and the University of Wisconsin.

City Station now anchors a four-building urban office park totaling nearly 250,000 square feet of class “A” commercial and retail space. Its retail component brought commerce into a residential area that, although centrally located, had few services. The neighborhood now possesses access to a Panera Bread, FedEx Office, Summit Credit Union, and Doctors’ offices.
