The Alexander Co. and Bear Development are co-developing a $34.5 million, six-building, multifamily, live-work development near the Novation campus at 2773 Novation Parkway in the town of Madison and city of Fitchburg.
Artisan Village, described in a release as high-quality, affordable multifamily apartments, will offer 169 “live/work units catering to the creative community,” as well as lofts and flats.
The community will serve households with incomes of up to 70 percent of the area median income, so long as the average income of the community remains at 60 percent of the area median income or less. The project will be ready for occupancy in 2020.
