Paragon Mill

Once on a local Most Endangered List, the historic Paragon Mill has undergone a complete rehabilitation. The Alexander Company has restored Paragon Mill to its former glory, returning life to a historic icon as an apartment community catering to a variety of income levels.

Located in the Olneyville neighborhood along the Woonasquatucket River, Paragon Mill represents an important connection to Providence’s industrial heritage, the way people lived and worked, and the use of the river as an economic engine.

Olneyville’s history is reflected throughout, from the rehabilitation of historic fabric to redefined public/private spaces imbued with charm and character. In concert with elevated living quarters, Paragon Mill features an ample amenity package with active and passive civic spaces bringing the entire campus to life.

A strong group of local organizations have made this project a reality. They include RIHousing, the Providence Redevelopment Agency, TRAC Builders, DBVW Architects, EA Engineering, Horsley Witten Group, and Citibank.
