Providence leaders celebrated the grand reopening of the historic Paragon Mill on Wednesday.

Mayor Brett Smiley and affordable housing advocates held a ceremony at the property at 144 Delaine Street.

The complex in the Olneyville neighborhood is now a home for those making low to medium income. The renovation plans include about 100 apartment units.

The Alexander Company, the real estate development company that led the construction, created 44 affordable housing units and 57 workforce units.
