Eagle Point

The Appleton Redevelopment Authority selected The Alexander Company and Tukka Properties to take on the challenge of redeveloping an attractive, yet complicated, 7.5-acre site – formerly home to the Foremost Dairy Plant. Located on the Fox River, in close proximity to Lawrence University and downtown Appleton, this multi-phase development will include the construction of a 99-unit senior care facility, 28-unit memory care facility, and a final phase that is open to a variety of options.

The first and largest phase of the master plan is Eagle Point Senior Living – a senior living facility for seniors seeking service-enhanced housing in Appleton and the surrounding area. Both congregate care and assisted living units are available in a new facility, ripe with amenities. Community amenities include but aren’t limited to a pub and wine cellar, library and game room, general store, expansive outdoor gathering and grilling areas, shuffle board courts, bocce ball, putting green, theater, chapel, craft/activity areas, spa, physical therapy/massage room, a dining program, and 24/7 staff services. The building is designed for residents age 55+ seeking a luxurious lifestyle. Included in the first phase is the much-awaited walking trail along the Fox River, bringing public access to the riverfront.

The second phase of the development – Eagle Court, brings 28 memory care units on the northern portion of the site, with the final phase on the lot fronting John Street still open to a variety of options; a possible owner-occupied condominium project is in consideration.

In partnership with the City of Appleton, this master-planned campus brings new use to an attractive urban site with a complicated past, setting an example of what can be achieved through urban infill development and public-private partnerships.
