Located on the Milwaukee River in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, City Hall Square is aptly named for its location across the street from the city’s historic city hall.

Comprised of two large brick structures, the blighted, vacant buildings were overdue for rehabilitation.

The project provided housing to Milwaukee’s emerging Water and South First Street revivals, and was an early example of downtown Milwaukee’s overall re-emergence, which was carried on to the south of the site in the Historic Third Ward.
