The long and winding road to downtown riverfront development took another step forward at the Tuesday, Nov. 26 meeting of the Stoughton City Council, as members approved a developmentagreement with The Alexander Company, Inc. to redevelop city and Redevelopment Authority land along the Yahara River.
The city is requiring the company reimburse for costs incurred in reviewing development approval applications or tax increment financing requests and providing a $10,000 deposit.
