DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — It’s easy to see the progress outside of the future Dan River Falls. But now–we’re getting a glimpse of the changes inside this 100-year-old building.
Project development manager Dave Vos gave ABC 13 a tour of the 550,000-square-foot building.
“I’m over the top excited about moving people in,” Vos said.
With the construction making remarkable progress every day, Vos is excited that they’re almost at the finish line.
“I always say there’s two exciting moments in the project. One is when it starts, you see all of the workers come in and look at all the jobs you’ve created with the project. And the second point is when you actually see people moving in and see the fruits of your labor,” Vos said.
Right now crews are working on finishing up the inside. They’re focusing on putting in hardwood floors.
“They’re fairly well along on the third floor and they’re moving on to the second floor. We’re getting those finishing touches in and it’s really changed the character of the space,” Vos said
